Introduction:

2× Urea-TBE sample loading buffer is a 2-fold concentrated denaturing nucleic acid loading buffer. For optimum performance, it is recommended for use with Urea-TBE PAGE gels. It cannot be used for protein electrophoresis and cannot denature proteins, but it can denature nucleic acids.

Application: Nucleic acid electrophoresis for ssDNA and RNA.

Storage: Store at -20°C for one year. It is recommended to freeze and store in aliquots to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Protocol (for reference only):

1. Mix 2×Urea -TBE sample loading buffer with your nucleic acid sample with 1:1 ratio.
2. Heat the sample mixture at 70℃ for 4 minutes for fully denaturing to obtain optimum results.
3. Directly load the sample mixture into the wells of the gel after it cooled down to room temperature.

Notes:

1. This product is offered in 2× format and it should be diluted into 1× working solution according to the experimental requirements.
