Introduction:
Electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) is an experimental technique to identify and characterize the interaction of DNA-binding proteins with their associated DNA sequences. EMSA/Gel-Shift Sample Loading Buffer (colorless, 4×) can be used for the sample loading after the binding reaction of nucleoproteins or purified transcription factors with specific double-stranded oligonucleotides in EMSA. EMSA/Gel-Shift Sample Loading buffer (colorless, 4×) does not contain bromophenol blue.
Storage:store at -20℃ for 12 months; it is recommended to freeze and store in aliquots to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Note:
1. All other reagents related to EMSA must be prepared by yourself.
2. For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
3. For your safety and health, please wear personal protective equipment and clothing when operating.
Protocol:
Mix EMSA sample loading buffer (4×) with binding reaction sample in 1:3 ratio (volume) and then immediately load samples onto a EMSA gel.
