Introduction:
Electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) is an experimental technique to study the interaction of DNA-binding proteins with their associated DNA sequences. This technique is based on the fact that DNA-protein complexes migrate slower than non-bound DNA in a native polyacrylamide or agarose gel, resulting in a “shift” in migration of the labeled DNA band. EMSA PAGE Gel Preparation Kit includes a full set of reagents required for the preparation of EMSA PAGE gels. You only need to prepare a small amount of distilled water to prepare the high-quality gels of various concentrations according to the instructions.
