Introduction:

Unstained Protein Marker (6.2-66.2 kDa) is a mixture of six high purified, unstained proteins ranging from 6.2 kD to 66.2 kD for use as standards in protein electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) and western blotting. Six protein bands with uniform distribution and same density can be visualized by SDS-PAGE using Coomassie or silver stains or detected in Western blots with protein stains. The concentration of each band is 0.1 µg/μL.

Storage:

Store at -20℃ for one year.

Protocol:

1. Thaw the ladder at room temperature and heat in a boiling water bath for 3-5 minutes before loading.
2. Load 5-10 μL of protein marker for each lane.

Notes:

1. This protein marker contains SDS and is not suitable for native electrophoresis.
2. It is recommended to aliquot and store in 20 μL/tube after opening to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
3. For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
