Introduction:

Balanced Salt Solution (BSS) is consistent with the environmental conditions such as pH value and osmotic pressure under cell growth state, and has the functions of maintaining osmotic pressure, controlling acid-base balance, and supplying energy and inorganic salt components necessary for cell survival and metabolism, which can meet the basic needs of cell survival and maintain a certain metabolism in vitro experiments.

Phosphate-Buffered Saline is one of the commonly used phosphate buffered solutions, also known as Dulbecco's Phosphate Buffered Saline, Dulbecco's PBS, D-PBSA, CMF-DPBS, D-PBS, DPBS. PBST (pH7.5) is composed of sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, etc., contains 0.05% Tween20, does not contain Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, pH is 7.5. It is mostly used as an ELISA washing buffer, and can also be used to wash PVDF membranes or NC membranes in Western Blotting.

Storage: Store at 4℃ for 12 months.

Protocol:

Refer to the specific experimental requirements, 1× PBST can be used directly, 10× PBST should be diluted with deionized water or distilled water to 1× concentration before use.
