Introduction:
Electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) is an experimental technique to identify and characterize the interaction of DNA-binding proteins with their associated DNA sequences. This technique is based on the fact that DNA-protein complexes migrate slower than non-bound DNA in a native polyacrylamide or agarose gel, resulting in a “shift” in migration of the labeled DNA band.
WSHT's GLASS Gels (EMSA Gels) are precast polyacrylamide gels with high-performance for the study of the interaction of proteins and nucleic acids.
